A moment for me where I first fell in love, especially with some form of art for me. controversially, Smackdown 2002, Shawn Michaels verses Triple H. It was my first time watching wrestling and not seeing it as wrestling, but seeing it as characters with storytelling. The end of the match where Shawn Michaels wins his comeback match and he’s celebrating with the fans, first time performing in five years and short Triple H takes a sledgehammer and just smashes him in the back – seven year old Adan was absolutely devastated! Shock horror!. My first time watching was my first connection with these two characters, both able to get that visceral reaction from me, this jaw dropping reaction. It stuck with me. And I watched it ever since and still to this day have not stopped. This passion for storytelling and characters. For me, wrestling is an art form and this this blend of all of them. They kind of tore the line of what is real and what’s not. I think for me is what makes that art form to just sit perfectly in the right place.
